「POEBOT」は、ネットワーク共有を介して拡散するワームのファミリです。ワームは、ユーザネームのリストおよびパスワードを利用し、パスワード保護された共有へ接続します。

「POEBOT」は、バックドア機能を備えており、感染コンピュータにリモートアクセスすることが可能です。またワームは、特定のアプリケーションから情報を収集することができます。

インストール

ワームは、感染したコンピュータ内に以下のように自身のコピーを作成します。

  • %System%\{random}.exe

(註：%System%フォルダは、システムフォルダで、いずれのオペレーティングシステム(OS)でも通常、"C:\Windows\System32" です。.)

自動実行方法

ワームは、自身のコピーがWindows起動時に自動実行されるよう以下のレジストリ値を追加します。

その他

ワームは、以下の不正なWebサイトにアクセスします。
