- Obfuscation refers to the process of concealing something important, valuable, or critical. Cybercriminals use obfuscation to conceal information such as files to be downloaded, sites to be visited, etc.The operating system (OS) is the master software program that controls the computer’s basic functions. This rating is automatically computed based on four other ratings: damage potential, distribution potential, information exposure, and reported infections.
