Beschreibung: Phishers are constantly looking for ways to attract users via prank emails and pop-up windows that may seem legitimate. One of the most recent phishing attempts involves a new Italian bank, Banca Valsabbina, which is best known for its good capitalization, sound liquidity and funding profile. It also has solid roots in the northern Italian Province of Brescia, further adding to the bank's credibility.

As with previous related phishing attempts, clicking the link leads users to a site that much like the legitimate login page. The site asks users to enter their user name and password.

After giving out the requested information, they are redirected to another site that asks for their PIN number and password.

Once users have provided all the necessary information, they will be redirected to the real Valsabbina site. Unfortunately, by then, the phishers’ have already acquired the data they need.

The URL is now blocked by the Trend Micro Smart Protection Network.
