Download Routine
This Trojan downloads files from the following File Transfer Protocol (FTP) sites:
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.58.184
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.79.109 - connection reset
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.75.143 - file to download not found
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.213.66 - inaccessible
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.218.57 - inaccessible
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.165.136 - inaccessible
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.176.17 - inaccessible
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.146.161 - inaccessible
It saves the files it downloads using the following names:
- C:\boot1.exe
- C:\bootMarkNet32.exe
- C:\bootnonsa.exe
- C:\bootslrvdaer.exe - detected as PE_PARITE.A
- C:\bootwinlogan.exe
- C:\snonsa.exe
- C:\sslrvdaer.exe - detected as PE_PARITE.A
- C:\stMUMA.exe
- C:\stSB360.exe
- C:\stsmss.exe

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Note that not all files, folders, and registry keys and entries are installed on your computer during this malware's/spyware's/grayware's execution. This may be due to incomplete installation or other operating system conditions. If you do not find the same files/folders/registry information, please proceed to the next step.
Step 3
Remove malware/grayware files dropped/downloaded by BAT_DLOAD.SMJ. (Note: Please skip this step if the threats listed below have already been removed.)

Search and delete these files

- C:\bootMarkNet32.exe
- C:\bootnonsa.exe
- C:\bootwinlogan.exe

Step 5
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as BAT_DLOAD.SMJ. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
