UnionBank Customers Targeted by Phishers

Philippine online banking customers of local bank UnionBank are being targeted by a new wave of spammed messages. The spammed message, pictured above, informs the recipient to upgrade access via a link provided in the email. When the recipient clicks on the link, the user is redirected to a phishing website:

The page looks like it is a legitimate banking website but users should notice that the website address is a different address. Users who mistakenly input their credentials in the phishing site are redirected to the following thank you page made to look like they have successfully updated their credentials:
