It modifies registry entries to disable the following system services:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\wscsvc
Start = 4

(Note: The default value data of the said registry entry is 2.)

This Trojan connects to the following possibly malicious URL:

  • http://web-texinc.com/images/products.php?s=YQQM8YWx&id=2

  SOLUTION

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
