It may be downloaded by other malware/grayware/spyware from remote sites.
Installation
This Trojan drops and executes the following files:
- %User Profile%\Application Data\{Random folder name}\{Random file name}.exe - detected as TROJ_KRAP.SMDA
(Note: %User Profile% is the current user's profile folder, which is usually C:\Windows\Profiles\{user name} on Windows 98 and ME, C:\WINNT\Profiles\{user name} on Windows NT, and C:\Documents and Settings\{user name} on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003.)
Other Details
Based on analysis of the codes, it has the following capabilities:
- It decrypts, loads and executes a malware in memory - detected as Mal_Zbot-8
It deletes itself after execution.
