Installation

This Backdoor adds the following processes:

  • %System%\cmd.exe /c "wmic csproduct get uuid"
  • %System%\cmd.exe /c "getmac"
  • %System%\cmd.exe /c "ipconfig"
  • %System%\cmd.exe /c "wmic os get Caption"
  • %System%\cmd.exe /c "hostname"

(Note: %System% is the Windows system folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\System32 on all Windows operating system versions.)

Backdoor Routine

This Backdoor executes the following commands from a remote malicious user:

  • Upload file
  • Download file
  • Zip Folder
  • Execute file
  • Set timestamp
  • Execute arbitrary commands

It connects to the following websites to send and receive information:

  • http://{BLOCKED}ort365.com/agentsAPI/initial/
  • http://{BLOCKED}ort365.com/agentsAPI/message/

This Backdoor gathers the following information on the affected computer:

  • UUID
  • MAC Address
  • IP
  • Hostname
  • Timestamp
  • Operating system information

This Backdoor does the following:

  • It sets up a proxy server
