DESCRIPTION
This security update resolves a vulnerability found in the .NET Framework that when exploited could allow remote code execution. The vulnerability exists on several versions of .NET Framework installed on specific Windows operating systems.
An attacker must convince a user to click on a URL or a link an email message, or use a social engineering ploy to successfully exploit this vulnerability. Note however that websites compromised with code designed to exploit this vulnerability may also be used by attackers.
