SAMBAR_DIRECTORY_TRAVERSAL_AND_DIRECT_FILE_ACCESS_EXPLOIT
DESCRIPTION
Directory traversal and direct file access vulnerabilities have been found in Sambar WebProxy server on version 6.x. Inputs to several HTTP requests are not validated by the Sambar server. Once these vulnerabilities are successfully exploited, a remote malicious user can access the target user's cookies (including authentication cookies), if any, associated with the site running the Sambar Server software, access data recently submitted by the target user via Web form to the site, or take actions on the site acting as the target user..
Sambar WebProxy Server is a multi-functional server that offers the following services: HTTP, FTP, SMTP, NNTP and others.
