Propagation
The said .INF file contains the following strings:

open=wscript.exe .\.vbs
shell\open\command=wscript.exe .\.vbs
shell\open\default=1
Other Details
This Trojan automatically executes the following files when a user opens a drive:

SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Search and delete AUTORUN.INF files created by Trojan.INF.AUTORUN.NP that contain these strings
- UT 9
- [autorun]
- open=wscript.exe .\.vbs
- shell\open\command=wscript.exe .\.vbs
- shell\open\default=1
Step 3
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as Trojan.INF.AUTORUN.NP. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
