Stolen Information
This Trojan sends the gathered information via HTTP POST to the following URL:
- https://{BLOCKED}zilexports.com/kagoya.php
NOTES:
This Trojan does the following:
- It disguises itself as an Alpha Mail Premier login page
- It connects to the following URL to display the webpage's background image (tracked as non-malicious)
- https://aadcdn.msauth.net/shared/1.0/content/images/backgrounds/2_bc3d32a696895f78c19df6c717586a5d.svg
- After two or more attempts, the webpage will be redirected to the following URL (tracked as non-malicious):
- https://support.conoha.jp/wing/guide/?btn_id=top-commonFooter_wing-guide
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as Trojan.HTML.PHISH.QURAAOOIQD. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
