OVERVIEW
Once users access any of the monitored sites, it starts logging keystrokes. It attempts to steal information, such as user names and passwords, used when logging into certain banking or finance-related websites.
It attempts to get information from a list of banks or financial institutions.

SOLUTION
Step 1
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product and note files detected as TROJ_ZBOT.CDW
Step 2
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 3
Identify and delete files detected as TROJ_ZBOT.CDW using the Recovery Console
Step 4
Delete this registry value

Search and delete these files
Note: To do a search for the following files, right-click Start then click Search... or Find..., depending on the version of Windows you are running. For each file to be deleted, type its file name in the Named input box. In the Look In drop-down list, select My Computer, then press Enter.

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_ZBOT.CDW. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
