This Trojan accesses the following websites to download files:
- http://{BLOCKED}tkrich.net/4
- http://{BLOCKED}iakfuuasd.net/4
- http://{BLOCKED}carusled.org/4
- http://{BLOCKED}asudskfoe.org/4
- http://{BLOCKED}uytdk.info/4
- http://{BLOCKED}kiev.ua/4
- http://{BLOCKED}vtkn.in.ua/4
- http://{BLOCKED}mausj.org/4
- http://{BLOCKED}eavmauytdk.info/4
- http://{BLOCKED}nz.net/4
- http://{BLOCKED}n.org/4

It saves the files it downloads using the following names:
- %Temp%\{script name}.tmp
(Note: %Temp% is the Windows Temporary folder, which is usually C:\Windows\Temp.)
It then executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Remove the malware/grayware file dropped/downloaded by JS_QAKBOT.GR
- BKDR_QAKBOT
WORM_QAKBOT
Step 3
Search and delete this file
Step 4
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as JS_QAKBOT.GR. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
