It downloads a file from a certain URL then renames it before storing it in the affected system. It takes advantage of software vulnerabilities to allow a remote user or malware/grayware to download files.
It requires its main component to successfully perform its intended routine.

- %User Temp%\bg34dfbewgba4.exe
- %User Temp%\av4a43by4ayb.exe
(Note: %User Temp% is the current user's Temp folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Temp on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003, or C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\Temp on Windows Vista and 7.)

This Trojan requires its main component to successfully perform its intended routine.
It executes the downloaded file using the following commands:
- regsvr32 -s %User Temp%\{file name}.exe
- %User Temp%\{file name}.exe
(Note: %User Temp% is the current user's Temp folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name}\Local Settings\Temp on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003, or C:\Users\{user name}\AppData\Local\Temp on Windows Vista and 7.)
NOTES:
The term {URL} is passed by the loaded resource of njinjinjib.class.
It does not have rootkit capabilities.
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Close all opened browser windows

Search and delete these files

Step 4
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as JAVA_EXPLOYT.LH. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
