NOTES:
It is a command-line program that may be used to sniff the following information and save them into a file:
- HTTP sessions
- FTP credentials (username and password)
It may also perform the following:
- hack sites by inserting files, code or text
- modify DNS
Upon execution, it displays the following information:
- network interface
- IP address
- physical address
- default gateway
It accepts the following parameters:

SOLUTION
Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as HKTL_NETSNIFF If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required.
