It does the following:

  • This backdoor is usually dropped on a system using the file name cdrom.sys. It is used by its main component to open random ports where it connect to a remote site. As a result, remote malicious user may then execute commands on the affected system, thus, compromising system security.

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Step 2
