This Backdoor connects to the following URL(s) to send and receive commands from a remote malicious user:
- {BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.27.20:443

This Backdoor requires its main component to successfully perform its intended routine.
It does the following:
- Connect to remote site
- Create a HTTP Proxy
- Create a Socks Proxy
- Create a remote shell session
- It is capable of executing commands:
- Create/Delete directories
- Copy/Delete/Rename/Move files
- Get/Set Date and Time
- Execute files/command
- It is capable of the following FTP commands:
- List/Search files
- Delete/Rename/Move files
- Get file size
- Retrieve/Store files
- Execute command
- Terminate services
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as BKDR_GOOBOT.A. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
