NOTES:

This malware pretends to the popular game NFS Hot Pursuit by using the same app name and icon. In reality, this malware is simply a downloader.

Once installed, the malware will ask the user to pay for a full version of the game. The transaction will course through premium SMS. Once the fee has been paid, the malware will download a cracked version of the game, not the official app.

The malware sends the following details to the remote server hxxp://{BLOCKED}t.{BLOCKED}1.com/asc/alias :

  • phone number
  • IMEI
  • SIM card serial number
  • network operator
