This Trojan Spy does the following:

  • It must be loaded on a specific executable in order to continue to its malicious routine.
  • It checks the existence of its configuration file named "config.json" under a folder 3CXDesktopApp.
  • It retrieves the last 500 URLs and title columns listed on the browser history of the following browsers:
    • Chrome
    • Edge
    • Brave
    • Firefox
  • It passes the retrieved data in text string format to its loader executable.

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
