This Adware may arrive bundled with malware packages as a malware component.

It arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

It may be manually installed by a user.

Download Routine

This Adware accesses the following websites to download files:

  • http://download-new.utorrent.com/endpoint/utorrent/os/windows/track/stable/ -> Non-malicious URL

It saves the files it downloads using the following names:

  • {Default Download Path of the Computer / User-assigned Path}\{User-assigned Filename}.exe -> Normal file, may be unwanted by the user
    Note: The Default Filename of the downloaded file is “visio error 128 corrupt file repair”

This Adware connects to the following website to send and receive information:

Step 1
