This Trojan is an AUTORUN.INF file that is dropped to removable drives as an autostart component. Once an affected drive is opened, this .INF file executes main malware. As a result, malicious routines of the main malware are exhibited on the affected system.

NOTES:

It is an AUTORUN.INF file that is dropped to removable drives as an autostart component. Once an affected drive is opened, this .INF file executes the following main malware:

  • [DRIVE]:\mesage\goingoff.exe - detected as WORM_PALEVO.LB

As a result, malicious routines of the main malware are exhibited on the affected system.

Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_OTORUN.LB
