Other Details

This Trojan attempts to access the following websites to download files, which are possibly malicious:

  • {BLOCKED}config.com
  • {BLOCKED}psecuritysolution2010.com
  • {BLOCKED}ne.in

It does the following:

  • Drops the following copies of itself into random folders in the default Program Files folder:
    • OfficeMSORUN.exe
    • OfficeData.exe
    • GestionnaireLive.exe
    • AdobeNPPDF328.1.0.2007051000.exe
    • plugintesselate.exe
    • VisualVisual.exe

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Step 4

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_FAKEAV.FBP.
