This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Other Details

This Trojan does the following:

  • It creates a PowerShell script by concatenating the basename of the files located in the following directories and executes it afterwards:
    • %Windows%\Logs\Log\124532
    • %Windows%\Logs\Log\231546
    • %Windows%\Logs\Log\12453250
    • %Windows%\Logs\Log\23154652
    • %Windows%\Logs\Log\23154653

(Note: %Windows% is the Windows folder, where it usually is C:\Windows on all Windows operating system versions.)

It requires being executed with a specific argument/parameter, an additional component, or in a specific environment in order to proceed with its intended routine.

Step 1
