This Trojan does the following:
- It creates a PowerShell script by concatenating the basename of the files located in the following directories and executes it afterwards:
- %Windows%\Logs\Log\124532
- %Windows%\Logs\Log\231546
- %Windows%\Logs\Log\12453250
- %Windows%\Logs\Log\23154652
- %Windows%\Logs\Log\23154653
(Note: %Windows% is the Windows folder, where it usually is C:\Windows on all Windows operating system versions.)
It requires being executed with a specific argument/parameter, an additional component, or in a specific environment in order to proceed with its intended routine.

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as Trojan.PS1.POWLOAD.TIAOENS. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
