Installation

This Trojan drops the following component file(s):

  • %Program Files%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\WinlogonUpdate\svchost.exe - also detected as TROJ_SPMAN.KRZ

(Note: %Program Files% is the default Program Files folder, usually C:\Program Files.)

It creates the following folders:

  • %Program Files%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\WinlogonUpdate

Process Termination

This Trojan terminates the following processes if found running in the affected system's memory:

  • avp.exe
  • bdagent.exe

Remove malware/grayware files that dropped/downloaded TROJ_SPMAN.KRZ
