NOTES:
This malware arrives by taking advantage of certain vulnerabilities on software found in web servers which allows download of this Trojan.
It attempts to do the following:
- Executes cmd.exe /c whoami and sends the command's output (domain and user name) as the server response
- Drops temp.tmp in the current folder then sends write as the server response, if successful
- If the file dropping routine is successful, it deletes the dropped file then sends delete as the server response upon success
As a result, the hacker gets the domain and user name of the victim (web server) and determine if (s)he has write and delete access in the current folder.
