Installation

This Trojan adds the following processes:

  • %Windows%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe <- For 32bit System
  • %Windows%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\InstallUtil.exe <- For 64bit System

(Note: %Windows% is the Windows folder, where it usually is C:\Windows on all Windows operating system versions.)

This Trojan does the following:

  • The Trojan decrypts each files in the directory(C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET) and searches for the string client. Once the file is found, the code is decrypted and be executed.
  • This Trojan checks if the file is executed using svchost.
  • This Trojan checks if it is running as a service.

It does not exploit any vulnerability.
