Installation

This Ransomware drops the following files:

  • {Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 1}.bat
  • {Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 2}.bat

It adds the following processes:

  • cmd /c "{Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 1}.bat"
  • cmd /c "{Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 2}.bat"
  • SC QUERY
  • FINDSTR SERVICE_NAME

Other System Modifications

This Ransomware deletes the following files:

  • {Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 1}.bat
  • {Malware File Path}\{Random Characters 2}.bat

Ransomware Routine

This Ransomware appends the following extension to the file name of the encrypted files:

  • .yguekcbe
