This spyware drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:
- %WINDOWS%\host32.exe
It drops the following files:
- %WINDOWS%\jh87uhnoe3\ewfrvbb.nls
- %WINDOWS%\jh87uhnoe3\ewf32.nls
It creates the following folders:
- %WINDOWS%\jh87uhnoe3
Autostart Technique
This spyware modifies the following registry entries to ensure it automatic execution at every system startup:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Userinit = %System%\userinit.exe,%Windows%\host32.exe,
(Note: The default value data of the said registry entry is %System%\userinit.exe,.)
Other System Modifications
This spyware adds the following registry entries:
