This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:

  • {malware path and file name}.doc

It adds the following processes:

  • conhost.exe -local
  • %Program Files%\Microsoft Office\Office12\WINWORD.EXE Wor.doc
  • "%Program Files%\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\DW\DW20.EXE" -x -s 1008
  • %Program Files%\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\office12\OffDiag.exe /SOURCE 1 /LCID 1033 /WAITPID 1172
