This malware is involved in the cyber attacks that targeted specific users in South Korea during March of 2013. It enters systems through a spammed mail purporting to come from a major banking organization. It downloads and runs malware on affected systems, which may result in malicious routines being exhibited.

It arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
