This Backdoor arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.
Installation
This Backdoor drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:
- %User Profile%\bSBAJ\rAbvl.class
(Note: %User Profile% is the current user's profile folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name} on Windows 2000(32-bit), XP, and Server 2003(32-bit), or C:\Users\{user name} on Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 2008(64-bit), 2012(64-bit) and 10(64-bit).)
It drops the following files:
- %System%\(random characters}
- %User Temp%\hsperfdata_{username}\{process ID}
- %User Temp%\{random characters}.xml
- %User Profile%\.oracle_jre_usage\{random characters}.timestamp
- %User Profile%\.ntusernt.ini
- %User Profile%\bSBAJ\Desktop.ini
- %User Profile%\Oracle\{copies of files under Java Installation folder}

Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
