This Trojan connects to the following website(s) to download and execute a malicious file:
- http://www.{BLOCKED}rquerquer.net/mdl_dwn/taskhosts.my
It saves the files it downloads using the following names:
- %SystemRoot%\WinSoft\WRInfo\Contents\PerfLogs\Documentation\Sample\Closed\taskhosts.my
NOTES:
After completing the download routine, this Trojan displays the following message and proceeds to restart the computer:
It connects to the non-malicious site http://windows.microsoft.com/pt-br/windows/support#top-solutions=windows-7.
SOLUTION
Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Delete this registry key

Restart in normal mode and scan your computer with your Trend Micro product for files detected as TROJ_BANLOAD.KMZ. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
