DESCRIPTION
This security update resolves a publicly disclosed vulnerability and one privately reported vulnerability in the Secure Channel (SChannel) security package in Windows.
The more grave of these vulnerabilities may allow remote code execution once user visits specific Web sites designed to exploit these vulnerabilities using an Internet Web browser. In all cases, however, users must be convinced to visit these sites usually through a link in an email message or in an Instant Messenger message. The link leads users to the said Web sites.
