Autostart Technique

This worm adds the following registry entries to enable its automatic execution at every system startup:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce
Symantec Event Manager Service = "{malware path and file name} /v"

Other System Modifications

This worm deletes the following files:

  • dnsapi.exe
  • ImSched.exe
  • «#_CHAR(0x14)_
