Other Details
This spyware does the following:
- It has the following components:
- msdtv.exe - (extract and encrypt) detected as TSPY_RAWPOS.ACR
- sstpsvc.exe - (memory dumper) detected as TSPY_RAWPOS.ACR
- tskman.exe - (service installer) detected as TSPY_RAWPOS.ACR
- This malware is capable of searching for track data on the affected system (PoS machine). Once executed, it dumps the memory into a file in the created folder "memdump". It then reads the file to search for track data. If a track data is found, it will write the output to the file "dxfs32.dll". It also encrypts the stolen data using a XOR encryption.
- It uses the following regular expression to search for track 1 and track 2 data on a memory dump:
- track1 - ((b|B)(([0-9]{13,16})|([0-9]|\s){13,25})\^[A-Za-z\s0-9]{0,30}\/[A-Za-z\s0-9]{0,30}\^(0[7-9]|1[0-5])((0[1-9])|(1[0-2]))([0-9]|\s){3,50})
- track2 - ([0-9]{15,16}(D|=)(0[7-9]|1[0-5])((0[1-9])|(1[0-2]))[0-9]{8,30})
