Arrival Details

This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan adds the following processes:

  • "%System%\wbadmin.exe" stop job

(Note: %System% is the Windows system folder, where it usually is C:\Windows\System32 on all Windows operating system versions.)

This Trojan terminates the following services if found on the affected system:

  • Oracle
  • 1C
  • SSASTELEMETRY
  • SQL
  • Citrix
  • Malwarebytes
  • Exchange
  • Veeam
  • Sharepoint
  • Quest
  • Backup

Other Details

This Trojan does the following:

  • It deletes system restore points.
  • It deletes all shadow copies on the system.
  • It forcefully turns off all running virtual machines.
  • It disables all network adapters on the system without asking for confirmation.

Step 1
