    This Trojan drops the following files:

    • %System Root%\winsystem.exe
    • %System%\chamada1728.txt

    (Note: %System Root% is the root folder, which is usually C:\. It is also where the operating system is located.. %System% is the Windows system folder, which is usually C:\Windows\System on Windows 98 and ME, C:\WINNT\System32 on Windows NT and 2000, or C:\Windows\System32 on Windows XP and Server 2003.)

            Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product and note files detected as TROJ_BANKER.LPU


            Step 2



            Locating Malware File(s)

            1. Right-click Start then click Search... or Find..., depending on the version of Windows you are running.
            2. In the Named input box, type:
            MALWAREFILE_LOCATE
          • In the Look in: drop-down list, select My Computer then press Enter.

          • For Windows 98 and ME users, Windows Task Manager may not display all running processes. In this case, please use a third-party process viewer, preferably Process Explorer, to terminate the malware/grayware/spyware file. You may download the said tool here.
