  概要

感染経路 ファイルに感染

「QUERVAR」は、ファイル型感染ウイルスのファミリであり、Microsoftワードやエクセル、実行ファイルなどに感染します。そしてマルウェアは、アイコンを維持しつつ、感染したファイルの拡張子を「.SCR 」に変更します。マルウェアは、2012年に北アメリカやヨーロッパ、中東、アフリカ、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドで拡散しました。このマルウェアの特定の亜種」は、「身代金要求型不正プログラム（ランサムウェア）」や「ZACCESS」をダウンロードすると報告されています。トレンドマイクロはまた、「QUERVAR」をダウンロードする「CITADEL」の亜種も確認しました。
