This Trojan adds the following registry entries to enable its automatic execution at every system startup:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce

Download Routine
This Trojan accesses the following websites to download files:
- http://{BLOCKED}2.{BLOCKED}7.167.21/major/images/view.php
- http://{BLOCKED}2.{BLOCKED}7.167.21/major/txt/read.php
It saves the files it downloads using the following names:
- %Current%\ctfmon.exe - detected as TROJ_GARVEEP.C
It then executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Delete this registry value
