This Trojan arrives as a file that exports the functions of other malware/grayware.
It may be dropped by other malware.
NOTES:
This file poses as a fake addon DLL file of the Masstagger component of the foobar2000 audio player software. It requires the foobar2000 software to successfully perform its intended routine. However, due to the errors in the code, foobar2000 is unable to load the said file.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Terminate a malware/grayware process
*Note: If the detected process is not displayed in theWindows Task Manager, continue doing the next steps.

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_KRYPTIC.WP.
