DESCRIPTION
This update resolves a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows, which could allow remote code execution if users open certain files located in the same network folder as a specially crafted library file. Opening files with the following file types could trigger the exploit: .eml and .rss for Windows Live Mail or .wpost for. Microsoft Live Writer.
More specifically, this update addresses the vulnerability by correcting the manner by which the Windows BranchCache loads external libraries.
