Step 1
Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.
Step 2
Note that not all files, folders, and registry keys and entries are installed on your computer during this malware's/spyware's/grayware's execution. This may be due to incomplete installation or other operating system conditions. If you do not find the same files/folders/registry information, please proceed to the next step.

Restart in Safe Mode

Restore this file from backup only Microsoft-related files will be restored. If this malware/grayware also deleted files related to programs that are not from Microsoft, please reinstall those programs on you computer again.

Restart in normal mode and scan your computer with your Trend Micro product for files detected as TROJ_CRYPSHED.B. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. Restoring the Screen Saver
- Open the Display window. To do this:
- On Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003:
Click Start>Settings>Control Panel, double-click on Display, and choose the Screen Saver tab. - On Windows Vista, 7, Server 2008 and Server 2008:
Click Start>Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Change screen saver. - On Windows 8, 8.1, and Server 2012:
Right-click on the lower left corner of the screen, click Control Panel>Appearance and Personalization>Change screen saver.
- On Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003:
- Click on Settings. Delete the string on the text field, then click OK.
- Select any screen saver to replace the existing.
- Click Apply. Close the window.
