This is the Trend Micro detection for Web pages that were compromised through the insertion of a certain malicious script.

It inserts the following IFRAME code in webpages:

  • http://{BLOCKED}h.co.cc/get/?refresh=ssl&showtopic=boz&catid=168&on=on
  • http://{BLOCKED}g.co.cc/wiki/index.php?table=img&past=0&p=168&version=boz&pool=off' width='1' height='1' style='visibility: hidden;

It does the following:

  • Accesses the following website to execute a script that Trend Micro detects as JS_IFRAME.AVX:
    • http://{BLOCKED}rmc.com/iframefile.js

Step 1

For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.

Close all opened browser windows

Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by JS_REDIR.GQ

Step 4

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as JS_REDIR.GQ. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
