This Backdoor connects to the following URL(s) to download its component file(s):

  • http://www.{BLOCKED}ro.org/file/ad_{number}/cod{number}

NOTES:

It connects to the remote site to download an arbitrary code. This allows the remote malicious user to execute codes on the affected system.

The said shellcode contains code that is used to download another file on the affected system.

It connects to the following remote site to download and execute a malicious file:

  • http://www.{BLOCKED}ro.org/file/ad_{number}/test{number}.jpg ← detected as TROJ_BLACKMOON.A

As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.
