This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan drops the following copies of itself into the affected system:

  • %System Root%\Documents and Settings\All Users\{Random Folder 1}\{Random File Name 1}.exe

(Note: %System Root% is the root folder, which is usually C:\. It is also where the operating system is located.)

It creates the following folders:

  • %System Root%\Documents and Settings\All Users\{Random Folder 1}

Backdoor Routine

This Trojan does not have any backdoor routine.

Dropping Routine

This Trojan drops the following files:

  • %System Root%\Documents and Settings\All Users\{Random Folder 2}\{Random File Name 2}.exe - detected as TROJ_DLOADR.ABP

Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_DROPPR.WJP

Identify and terminate files detected as TROJ_DROPPR.WJP
