This Trojan drops the following files:

- %User Profile%\Application Data\Adobe\AdobeUtil .exe
- %User Profile%\Application Data\Adobe\AdobeUtil.exe - copy of itself
- %User Profile%\Application Data\Adobe\plugs
- %User Profile%\Application Data\Adobe\shed
- %User Startup%\AdbUpd.lnk
- %malware path%\err.log518015 - copy of itself
(Note: %User Profile% is the current user's profile folder, which is usually C:\Windows\Profiles\{user name} on Windows 98 and ME, C:\WINNT\Profiles\{user name} on Windows NT, and C:\Documents and Settings\{user name} on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003.. %User Startup% is the current user's Startup folder, which is usually C:\Windows\Profiles\{user name}\Start Menu\Programs\Startup on Windows 98 and ME, C:\WINNT\Profiles\{user name}\Start Menu\Programs\Startup on Windows NT, and C:\Documents and Settings\{User name}\Start Menu\Programs\Startup.)
It creates the following folders:

This Trojan connects to the following website(s) to download and execute a malicious file:
- http://{BLOCKED}.{BLOCKED}.73.203/548.exe - detected by Trend Micro as TROJ_KARAGANY.AL
It then executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.

Step 1
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Step 2
Remove malware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_DLOADR.FG
- TROJ_KARAGANY.AL
Step 3
Identify and terminate files detected as TROJ_DLOADR.FG
- If the detected file is displayed in either Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer but you cannot delete it, restart your computer in safe mode. To do this, refer to this link for the complete steps.
- If the detected file is not displayed in either Windows Task Manager or Process Explorer, continue doing the next steps.

Search and delete this folder
- %User Profile%\Application Data\Adobe

Search and delete this file
Step 6
Delete this registry key
