This Trojan arrives on a system as a file dropped by other malware or as a file downloaded unknowingly by users when visiting malicious sites.

Installation

This Trojan drops the following files:

  • {malware path}\ka4281x3.log - deleted afterwards
  • {malware path}\{malware's base filename less the last 4 characters}.doc - if malware's base filename is made up of more than 4 characters
  • {malware path}\.doc - if malware's base filename is made up of 4 characters

It executes then deletes itself afterward.
